The Heiligen-Geist-Klamm in Leutschach on the Wine Route truly deserves the title of “natural jewel” and was also chosen by the ORF as the most beautiful place in Styria in the course of “9 Places 9 Treasures” in 2015.
The Heiligengeistklamm is an impressive gorge near Leutschach in southern Styria, Austria. It runs along the Heiligengeistbach stream and connects the Austrian Leutschach with the Slovenian town of Sveti Duh na Ostrem Vrhu. The gorge is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers and offers a varied path through dense forests, over wooden walkways and past waterfalls.
The path ends near the church of Sveti Duh, which sits picturesquely on a hill. The hike through the Holy Spirit Gorge combines nature experiences with cultural sights and offers wonderful views of the surrounding landscape.
